Lamborghini announced the availability of the Aventador Superveloce in the United States. The Italian supercar starts from $493,069, a figure which includes both the $3,495 destination fee and the $3,700 gas guzzler tax.
The Lamborghini Aventador SV packs a potent 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 750 horsepower for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 2,8 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.
Other features that make the Superveloce model more special compared to the standard one is the reduced weight. The new model is 50 kg lighter tipping the scales at 1,525 kg. The Italian company fitted several new carbon fiber parts that promise to improve both the aerodynamic efficiency as well as the downforce.
In terms of styling, Lamborghini offers a new Rosso Bia exterior finish with 20-inch (front) and 21-inch (rear) alloy wheels. They get Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires as well as carbon ceramic brakes for improved safety.
It is true that the Lamborghini Aventador SV is almost half a million dollars but you can still get the standard model at “just” over $400,000. If you are in the United States, expect the Italian supercar to hit the dealerships this spring.
