The newly unveiled Porsche Cayman GT4 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show has been recently reviewed by Matt Prior in a test drive carried out by Autocar online auto magazine. The test is showcased through a video as well, which highlights the sports car`s driving dynamics and performance on the track.
With no further introduction, the best thing you should do is push the play button and see for yourself. As a reminder, the Porsche Cayman GT4 was unveiled in Geneva last week, the sports car being one of the event`s main attractions, especially from a visual standpoint. Under the hood, the model was expected to come with higher power than the 911 GTR RS sibling.
In terms of visuals however, the Porsche Cayman GT4 is sporting an aggressive body kit, translated through a revised front splitter, side scoops, mesh grille inserts, fixed rear wing and a few more.
Under the hood, the performance must disappoint some of Porsche fans, as the model was expected to come with a tuned up power, as opposed to the 911 GT3 sports car. The model is thus fitted with a 3.8-liter six-cylinder unit, churning out 385 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque, when hooked to a 6-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the 911 GTR RS is producing 500 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque.
Even so, the Porsche Cayman GT4 is capable of sprinting from a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 4.4 seconds, at a topping of 295 km/h. All apart, the Porsche Cayman GT4 is fun to drive and sporty enough to draw everyone`s attention.
